On Sunday I went for a walk along a bit of the West Highland Way. I spotted this pair of old knackered walking boots about fifty meters off the track, dumped in the middle of a field.
It looked like that scene from the movie, where the subject got zapped by an alien ray-gun and vaporized, leaving only a pair of smoking shoes.
On a more serious note, I thought all those fit outdoor hill walking types had a bit more respect for their surroundings, apparently not all of them.
