A Must For Trekkies.
It is hard to believe that the original Star Trek series goes back 40 years.
I remember a science teacher at school being very impressed with the concept at the time. He was convinced that similar events were inevitable in the future.
I was once asked at a camera club talk to describe the technological advances in photography since starting as a professional till the present day. My answer then was
"It has been like going from Morris Minor, to the Starship Enterprise". With all the latest advances in digital imaging, you would have been certified quite mad had you tried to predict it all thirty three years ago.
For all you Trekkies, go and see it, it is spectacular.

hey Stewart. with your recommendation i may just go see the new Star Trek. recently i have watched a few of the olds shows on tv. i am still hoping to get a Glasgow trip and meet you. so far, i have all London this month and Dublin next month. i need a "real" photographer to take a photo with my Canon dslr and tell me what they think. i still can't get what i think is a clear/focused photo. anyways, Tom seems to be having a good trip.
happy Summer to you and yours.
