I was delighted to see in the papers and on TV that the brilliant Edwyn Collins is fighting back from his terrible illness. His sixth solo album, Home Again is due for release on 12 September 2007. Have a look at his web site, it is fabulous. I took these photo's of Edwyn at the QM in Glasgow in 1987. It was a fantastic night. My old pal Tom Morton was on hand to review the gig for Melody Maker. I am looking forward to hearing the new album and wish Edwyn all the best and a speedy recovery.
